The Challenge
Disney Italia needed a modern solution for distributing Italian free-to-air and Sky Pay TV channels across their corporate network, plus the ability to integrate their own messaging through digital signage.
The Implementation
StreamVue deployed a comprehensive solution including:
- Vivo appliance servers configured to convert outputs from 27 Sky boxes into multicast streams
- Vivo-DVBT servers for FTA channel distribution
- 6 digital signage channels with multiple endpoint screens, set-top boxes, and a videowall
- Cloud-based management portal for remote control and configuration
Key Features
The solution offers 40 configured STBs controlled via CEC protocol, end-to-end remote management with user permissions, forward scheduling capabilities, and recording of programs in advance by direct selection from the EPG information to the corporate NAS.
This deployment demonstrates StreamVue's ability to deliver sophisticated IPTV and digital signage solutions for global entertainment brands.
